Joey

Joey has one of the most immediately recognizable formats on the roster: find a location in Rust nobody else would choose to call home, build a safe haven there, and document every challenge that comes with making it work. Jungle safe havens, ocean outposts, icelake fortresses, mountain retreats, deep snow bunkers, decayed bases transformed into something worth defending — each video is a self-contained solo survival project built around a specific terrain challenge rather than a standard wipe narrative.

Launched in January 2024 and already at 69.8K subscribers and 5.5 million views across 50 videos, Joey is one of the fastest-growing build-focused solo creators on the site. The "Safe Haven" series in particular has found a formula that travels well — the concept is simple enough to understand in a thumbnail and compelling enough to click through on, which is exactly why it keeps coming back in different forms across different biomes. He sits naturally alongside Cali and dackfive in the unconventional-location solo survival lane, but with a warmer, more construction-focused tone and a bi-weekly upload cadence that keeps the channel consistently active. With a new video uploaded today, Joey is one of the most currently active creators on the roster.
